Today is my baby sisters birthday, and I couldn’t help but share the cake I made for her. I always love making cakes for birthdays and really try to think outside the box on the cakes I make (see here and here). Because my sister loves all things coconut, I decided to use this coconut cake recipe and paired it with a coconut whipped cream and lemon curd filling. The result was amazing! The cake came out so moist and the flavors paired together perfectly. For anyone who loves coconut, I highly recommend trying this cake.
