Dress: Madewell (on sale), Sandals: Jcrew, Cross-body: Banana Republic, Watch: Michele, Sunglasses: Calvin Klein
As I have shown in a number of posts this Spring and Summer (here, here, and here), I love myself a good white summer dress. They can easily be dressed up or down and just feel so fresh and crisp! I came across this one a couple weeks ago at Madewell and was immediately drawn to it’s eyelet fabric and and overlay top. I wore it most recently for a day wandering around NYC and chose to give my go-to white dress and gold accessories combo a break and instead opted for silver jewelry and my blush cross-body.

70s Vibes

V10
Top: ASOS (sleeves folded), Shorts: HM, Clutch: Linea Pelle, Shoes: Shoemint, Sunglasses: Calvin Klein
I really cannot get enough of the off the shoulder trend and was really excited to find this ivory off the shoulder top. I have already shared a number of off the shoulder dresses (here, here, and here) that I love, but this top might be my favorite off the shoulder piece. The simplicity and color makes it really versatile and I know it will be a great transition piece for Fall. Here, I paired it with my saddle brown leather shorts and gold accessories to give off a slight 70s vibe and once the weather cools down, I plan to wear it with leather skinnies and a leopard clutch!

Little Black Summer Dress

Thursday, July 16, 2015

BD16
Dress: Club Monaco (also in peach), Purse: Tory Burch, Necklace: Julie Vos, Hat: Target, Sandals: Madewell
This dress has been one of the best additions to my wardrobe this summer! I find myself reaching for it at least once a week to wear because of its versatility. On cooler days, I'll wear it with a cardigan or denim jacket. And on warm days, the lightweight silk fabric keeps me cool and I will pair it with simple accessories and wedges or sandals. It has become my little black summer dress!

Dress: Jcrew, Clutch: Clare Vivier, Wedges: Stuart Weitzman, Bracelet: Ann Taylor, Sunglasses: Calvin Klein
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I picked up this dress a couple weeks back at Jcrew and have been wearing it for countless occasions. The structured fit makes it easy to dress up for dinner while the lightweight linen fabric makes it work just as well for a day dress. I have been pairing it with white and gold accessories and my favorite wedges for a fresh, crisp look!

Distressed

WD14
Top: Zara, Shorts: Jcrew, Tote: Mar Y Sol, Flats: Sam Edelman, Sunglasses: Calvin Klein
These distressed shorts have been one of the best purchases I have made this summer. The faded blue and distressed spots add an edge to my more preppier outfits and keeps the look more balanced. Additionally, this straw tote has been another favorite. I wore it before on the blog here and keep finding myself grabbing it to run errands. It’s large enough to fit everything I need, but not too bulky like some other straw totes.

White Off The Shoulder Dress

Friday, July 3, 2015

WD_edited-1
Dress: Asos, Clutch: Clare Vivier, Shoes: Michael Kors, Watch: Nixon, Bracelet: Ann Taylor, Sunglasses: Calvin Klein
As the Fourth of July is tomorrow, I should probably be posting a more festive look for the holiday, but I just couldn’t help to share this dress! I have been loving the off the shoulder silhouette this season and white dresses are a must during the summer, so this dress has become my favorite piece. While shooting these photos, I was going back and forth on what necklace to wear, a dainty gold necklace or a more bold turquoise one. I ended up shooting both of them and couldn’t pick which I liked more, so I decided to post photos of both. I think the dainty gold look is a little more sexy and works for a more low key, intimate night and the turquoise look is more fun and perfect for an upbeat evening dancing the night away. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and a fantastic Fourth of July!!!
