Gray Moment
PONCHO//WATCH//PURSE//JEANS//SWEATER//SUNGLASSES//BOOTS
The weather in New York has started to turn towards Fall and I couldn’t be more excited! My Fall wardrobe is all about layering and the best way to do that is to rely on neutrals. Gray has been my favorite neutral as of late and there are so many great gray pieces out there for Fall! These suede booties are a staple and the chain detail on the heel is so fun! I think almost every blogger has a pair of these sunglasses. This quilted bag is such a classic, as is this Michele watch. And, what better way to bring everything together than with this Poncho! I love the deep, moody tones!

Dress: Cupcakes and Cashmere, Clutch: Old Navy, Shoes: Jcrew, Necklace: Target, Bracelet: Tiffany & Co
One of the first blogs I started following was Cupcakes and Cashmere back in college. I loved the mix of fashion and cooking/baking and more importantly Emily’s taste in things. She is still one of my favorite bloggers, so when she announced her clothing line a couple months back, I was really excited. I have seen lots of great pieces in the line, but this striped dress is one of my favorites. It’s structured enough to be dressed up with heels and a clutch, but can also just as easily be paired with flats and a cross body bag. I also can’t wait for the cooler weather when I can start pairing it with my fur vest, booties, and a pair of tights!

Shirt: Loft, Shorts: Jcrew, Tote: Old Navy, Necklace: Julie Vos, Sandals: Sam Edelman
Every year once it’s past labor day, all I crave is crisp, fall weather. We have yet to have this weather here in New York this year, but I am hoping it comes soon! Instead, I have been embracing the warm weather while it's here by wearing my favorite off the shoulder pieces. I have posted a number of off the shoulder looks, but most of them have been on the dressier side, so I wanted to share this more casual look. It's an easy look that works well for the weekends and this top is simple enough that it goes with just about anything.

Chicwish Dress Review

Dress: Chicwish, Tote: Mansur Gavriel, Sandals: Madewell, Bangle: Baublebar
If you follow a number of fashion bloggers, you have probably seen this dress on one of them this summer. I fell in love with this dress right away when I saw it on one of my favorite bloggers, but I didn’t know that much about Chicwish and it deterred me from getting it at first.
Chicwish is one of the many websites that sell affordable fashions online directly from China. I had a previously tried Sheinside earlier this year, and the dress I received looked nothing like the online picture, so I worried I would have the same problem with Chicwish. I finally decided after seeing this cute dress one too many times, that I had to try it and I have to say I am glad I did!
The dress looks in person just like it does in the pictures, except I will say it isn’t the highest quality fabric. The fit though is great and I definitely recommend sizing up when ordering. I am normally XS/S and went with a size medium for reference. Another thing to note as well, it took quite awhile to actually get the dress. I paid extra for shipping that would be “faster” and have tracking, but it still took about three weeks for me to get the dress. It’s definitely something you need to plan for if you want to wear your item for a special event. Overall, I had a pretty good experience with Chicwish and would be willing to try it again if I found something I really liked. Have any of you guys tried Chicwish? What was your experience?
