Dress: Old Navy, Scarf: Bloomingdales, Boots: Stuart Weitzman, Purse: Fendi, Necklace: Julie Vos
Time just seems to be flying by this year and it’s hard to believe Christmas is already over and the new year is less than a week away! Even crazier though is the weather we are experiencing in New York this winter. It’s been unseasonably warm and it hasn’t really been necessary to pull out the winter coats. I’ve been taking advantage of the warm weather by just wearing light layers, my favorite scarves, and these boots. I fell in love with these boots last season and finally made the splurge to purchase them over the summer when I found them on sale. They have been my favorite piece to wear this fall and winter, and I love to pair them with dresses and skirts to make any look more chic and with pants for a more a sleek look.

Dress: Forever 21, Clutch: MNO.logie, Sunglasses: Coach, Booties: Cole Haan
When I think about dressing for the holidays, I want to look festive, but I don’t want an outfit that can only be worn during the holiday season. The best way to get around this is to use accessories to add a festive touch to your look. Anything from a pair of statement earrings to a bold lip will work. Here I paired this white dress with a gold clutch and red lip to make it holiday ready. And once the holidays pass, this white dress will still be seasonally appropriate with black tights and a black clutch.

Coat: Kenneth Cole, Sweater: Joe Fresh, Jeans: Hudson, Boots: Stuart Weitzman, Purse: Chanel (borrowed from my Sister), Sunglasses: Ray Ban,
Every winter, I try to invest in one or two new coats to add to my wardrobe. This coat was one of the ones I picked up last year and I was excited to see that they brought the exact same coat back this year! The fuzzy texture of the coat is what separates it from all my other coats and I love how soft and warm it is!

NAPKIN RINGS//SILVERWARE//PLATES//PLACEMATS//RUNNER
For the second year in a row, I will be hosting my Family's Thanksgiving celebration. There is a lot of prep that goes into getting ready for the holiday, so the last thing I want to stress about is how I will decorate the table. So when I was thinking about my table decor, I knew I wanted to keep things simple and easy and chose to keep the over all color palette more natural - white, green, and gray with touches of gold.

Because the holiday is centered around the meal, I chose to incorporate different herbs being used in the kitchen. First, I incorporated thyme as an accent in the napkin rings to bring the green color into the place setting. Next, at the center of the table, I used rosemary to create a wreath around the center candle. On either side of the center candle then, I set my favorite white pumpkins. I had originally thought of incorporating a bouquet of white and green flowers, but opted not to in the end. However, as another option for the center of your table, you could swap the pumpkins for small bouquets of flowers. I finished things off then with my gold silverware and white plates. The end result is a simple, but pretty look that will be easy for me to set up on actual Thanksgiving and leave me with plenty of time to focus on other things.

Jacket: Mackage, Dress: HM, Purse: Fendi, Booties: Cole Haan, Scarf: HM, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
After a warmer than normal Fall, the weather is starting to cool down and it has me pulling out all my Fall and Winter jackets. I had been on the hunt for a new leather jacket for a while and thought I was never going to find one, when I finally came across this one. I love that the jacket looks just as good worn open as it does zipped up and that it’s not too edgy. I hope now that this cooler but not freezing weather sticks around, so I can continue to pair this jacket with my favorite skirts and dresses.

Poncho: Similar, Pants: Jcrew, Boots: Stuart Weitzman, Purse: Old Navy, Necklace: Julie Vos
It’s hard to believe it's already November and Thanksgiving is not too far away. Normally by this time of year, I am all bundled up in my winter coat, but the weather this year has been unseasonably warm. So instead, I’ve been able to manage with just some light layers on most days. This poncho is one of the layers I have been wearing the most and I love that it’s cream color makes it easy to pair with things.

Dress: Velvet, Purse: Old Navy, Boots: Coach, Necklace: Julie Vos, Sunglasses: Ray Ban
Once the weather cools down each Fall, I always find myself wearing the same combination of pieces - a dress, tights, and boots/booties. Together they make for an easy look that's both pulled together and doesn’t require to much thought when in a rush. It’s my Fall uniform and come Winter I add a scarf and a jacket for extra layers.

Shirt: Target (similar), Jeans: Old Navy, Boots: Rag & Bone, Purse: Old Navy, Sunglasses: Ray Ban
Since moving to the city three years ago, I have made it a tradition to go apple picking each Fall.  A couple weeks back, we made the trip out of the city to partake in this annual tradition. The weather was beautiful and the air crisp - perfect for the activity. We spent the day having lots of fun picking more than our share of apples, getting a couple pumpkins, and of course indulging in some apple cider donuts (my favorite!). For the occasion, I chose to keep my outfit simple with a plaid shirt, jeans, and booties. It's basics like these that keep my wardrobe going and become my go-to during the Fall.
