Friday Find: Best Travel Sites

by - August 16, 2013

Happy Friday everyone! I am heading off to Montreal this weekend for a short getaway, and thought I would share with you some of my favorite sites when booking a trip. These sites cover everything from flights to what to see and do to what to eat. I hope you find them as useful as I do and have a great weekend!

Kayak: Kayak is the best place to book your flight and hotel. The site will compare prices on other sites to make sure you get the best price. What's not to like about that?

Seat Guru: Seat Guru is my go-to when picking a seat on the plane. You can either select the plane type you will be flying on or enter your flight number to see which seats to avoid and which seats to sit in.

Trip Advisor: Trip Advisor is one of my favorite sites to use when deciding which hotel to stay in. It provides user reviews and pictures and ranks hotels by city/area. They also have reviews on what things to do and see, as well as reviews of restaurants. It really is a trip advisor!

Concierge.com: Concierge.com is a site run by Conde Nast Travel, and it will tell what things to do and see. It is a great place to begin in narrowing down where you want to go on vacation and what you might want to do there.

CHOW: CHOW is a forum based site that provides great feedback straight from users on where to eat. Just enter where you are traveling to in the search bar and find an endless amount of forums discussing places to eat.

EATER: EATER is another blog that helps you find great places to eat, drink, and go out. It provides blog posts about restaurants and all things food related for major cities across the USA. Just select what city you will be visiting at the top of the page, and you will have tons of recommendations.
