The weather in New York this week has been gorgeous with temperatures hitting the 40s everyday and it has me dreaming of Summer. There are lots of great pieces in stores now for the warmer weather ahead and I thought I would share a couple of my favorites. This maxi dress is casual enough for the day, but can also be dressed up for evenings with a pair of earrings and a clutch. White jeans are a Spring and Summer staple as they go with almost everything. And, these heels are the perfect neutral.

Happy Monday everyone! After the multiple snowstorms in New York last week, this weekend’s weather was what I needed. The sun came out both days and the temperatures were above 30F. It had me thinking that Spring really is just around the corner. The cheery weather had me reaching for lighter tones and a lot less black. I wore this light blue coat with white jeans and it felt so appropriate for the weather. Now let’s hope this warm weather continues!

Happy Friday All! I haven’t done a Friday Find in a long time, so I thought it was time I brought back the series. For this week’s find, I want to talk about the Kate Spade Saturday going on now. Everything is 40% and there is lots of great stuff. This purse is a classic and can be used for years to come. Once the weather does warm up, this dress will be perfect to wear on summer days. I know I keep saying this, but the winter weather is really getting to me. Over the last 5 days, it has snowed 3 times and while the weather forecast looks promising for the next week, I worry things will change. Because of all these cold, snowy days, I have been wearing lots of black. To break it up though, I have been trying to add other lighter colored neutrals like cream. Fingers crossed though that warmer weather will be upon us soon and will start wearing color back into my wardrobe.

Happy March everyone! I had planned on posting this outfit yesterday, but our trip back to the city on Sunday was much longer than anticipated because of bad weather. We spent the weekend skiing in Vermont and it was a great getaway out of the city. I wore this outfit on Saturday after a day of skiing and I have to say it was freezing outside. In between shots, I was warming up with my coat trying to stay warm. As gorgeous as the white snow can be, I am really ready for some warm weather and for Spring to come. This vest works well now as a layer over sweaters and tees and once the weather does warm up, it will work just as well over dresses.
