Happy Friday all! It's been a fun week here enjoying the snow and hoping for the ice to freeze on the canals. This morning and yesterday morning, there was some ice on the canals, so now I am just hoping it gets thick enough this weekend to skate on it! Fingers crossed! Happy Friday all! It was such a delight to come across these pink peonies at the market. Such a rare find in the middle of winter. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and these ones have been bringing me so much joy. These peonies also make me hopeful that spring isn't too far away and warmer and longer days are soon to come. Happy Friday All! It's hard to believe we are already at the end of January. One month into this new year and it still feels like we are in 2020, but we are slowly moving forward. It's important to stay positive. For me right now, I am staying positive by focusing on the little things bringing me joy. Whether it's some fresh flowers or an extra sunny day. Happy Friday All! This past week I celebrated my birthday and these were the flowers my husband got me. He seriously spoils me every year with the most beautiful blooms! My birthday was a reminder that it has almost been a year since the pandemic began. Last year, we celebrated my birthday in Paris and it was the last trip we took before everything changed. Just shows how much things can change in a year, both for the positive and negative. Here's to hoping for lots of positive changes in the next year! Wishing you all an amazing MLK weekend!
