Happy Friday all! It's hard to believe we are already at the end of July and tomorrow is the first day of August. While this summer has been flying by, I still feel like I haven't experienced full Summer and in my mind we are still in Spring. I think it's partially due to the cooler summers here in The Netherlands. In the past, I have always had hot and humid Summers, so my body is waiting for that kind of weather to tell me it's Summer. We are having some warmer weather over the next week, so hoping it will put me in a summer state of mind.

I love a matching short set and this one has such a pretty print. The matching bottoms can be found here.

Lyst just came out with their Q2 list of trending brands and products and it's the first time a designer brand is not number one. This quarter Nike took the top spot!

Following the activewear trend, Aerie just launched a new activewear line.

I'm loving the traditional coastal feel of this house on Martha's Vineyard.

Tieghan's recipes are always so delicious, so I am looking forward to making this feta and zucchini dish this weekend.

I've been on the hunt for easy third pieces and this cardigan from J. Crew is so good!

Pants are something I almost never wear in the summer because they are often too hot for the warm weather. This is why more often than not you will find me in a breezy summer dress. When I do wear pants though, I stay away from jeans and instead go for a lightweight fabric in a wide-leg. The wide-leg keeps the fabric off my legs for a breezy feel and keeps me cool even on the hottest days. While dresses are still my summer go-to, wide-leg pants are becoming a close second.

Happy Friday all! Living in the Netherlands now, I have been taking full advantage of the abundance of fresh flowers, and it has become my weekly tradition to pick up fresh flowers each week for our apartment. The blooms bring me so much joy during the week that I have started to take pictures of them to capture their beauty. These are the images I have been featuring with my Friday Find series each week. The images bring me so much happiness and I hope they too can bring some added joy to your day as well! Wishing you all a happy weekend!

J. Crew just announced their newest collaboration with Edie Parker. All the fruit prints feel so fresh for summer!

I am excited to read that Mango is trying to involve customers more in the development of their product.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is coming up soon and you can preview all the items on their website beginning today.

I love a good chocolate chip cookie and this recipe is my all time favorite.

The Dior Resort show happened this week in Italy. You can check out all the looks here.

I am loving this neutral dress for now on its own and in the fall with a leather jacket.

I love the look of a printed tunic in the summer. It's chic and effortless and works for beach days to evenings out with just a change of accessories. I recently came across this tunic and love the shorter length and boho vibe. For daytime, I'd pair it with slide sandals and a straw bag and in the evening, I'd wear it with statement earrings and strappy sandals.

Growing up, I loved baking blueberry muffins. However, I usually made them from a pre-made box mix instead of from scratch because I did not have a good recipe for them. After recently craving blueberry muffins, I knew it was time to finally find a good from scratch recipe. I searched around reading reviews for a number of recipes and finally decided on this one with a couple tweaks. I added more blueberries for a burst of blueberry flavor and topped them with sugar to get a nice crispy muffin top. The resulting muffins were delicious and tender and better than any of the pre-made boxes I made as a kid. I've written out my tweaked recipe here.

Happy Friday All! Another week down and the days are starting to feel very repetitive. It's beginning to feel like I am living in the movie Ground Hogs Day, so I am hoping to get out and do something different this weekend to break things up. Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend? Let me know below!

Madewell recently released a delicate jewelry line and I am loving the daintier pieces.

I've been looking for a new everyday sunscreen for my face and have narrowed it down to this one or this one.

If you love the royals, you have to pre-order Elizabeth Holmes is new book on royal style.

We've made this salmon recipe a couple times and I love the bright flavors of the tomatoes and cumin.

Julia just launched her new site and I am excited for all her future collaborations. Especially the collaboration she she has with Amanda Lindroth launching today!

I've been following Studio Mcgee for years and am excited to read about their journey to build the Studio Mcgee brand in their new book coming out in October!

Barbados just launched a new program allowing travelers to stay up to one year visa-free. Say hello to your new remote office!

During our honeymoon two years ago, we took a day trip to the island of Hvar. While the island is best known for it's beautiful blue waters and beaches, I was excited to see the lavender fields. I had done a little research beforehand and it seemed the island was known for them. I was full of excitement and had visions of the lavender fields you see in Provence.

When we arrived at the island, we walked through the town to the taxis and found a driver willing to give us a tour of the island along with stopping at the lavender fields. We drove and my eyes were on the lookout for the purple rows of lavender. After some time, the driver told us we were at the fields. However, they looked much different than I had imagined and I thought we must have been too late in the season. We went on to show the driver images we had found online of the fields, and that's when we were reminded to not trust everything you see online.

It turns out that 50 years ago, Hvar did have the abundant lavender fields I had imagined and seen online. However, as newer generations became less interested in harvesting it, the fields became less and less abundant. The rocky hills that had once been bursting with lavender were now a mix of lavender and other wild flowers and greenery. While I did not find the lavender fields I had hoped for, we did learn a lot about the island on our tour and our lovely driver even picked me a bunch of lavender to bring back with us.

Happy Friday all! It's hydrangea season and I am loving ALL of the hydrangea around the parks here and seeing them on social media. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and I hope to have lots of hydrangea bushes once we own a home.

While the weather here as of late has been very rainy and cool, I am looking forward to this weekend's forecast of sunshine and warmer temperatures. We hopefully will be able to get out on a boat to enjoy it. What plans do you guys have for the weekend?

Jacey's recent trip to the new Camp Sarika at the Amangiri resort in Utah is giving me an extreme case of wanderlust!

The details on this dress are so pretty and makes me long for a beach holiday!

Dior just opened a new flagship store in Paris and it looks so dreamy!

The world is adapting because of Corona virus and so is fashion. The Paris Haute Couture shows went digital this week for designers to share their collections. You can checkout all the shows here.

Talking about Corona virus, this Etsy shop makes the most beautiful embroidered masks.

Whitney Port just launched a new capsule collection with Rent The Runway. I am loving this, this and this. Items can either be purchased or rented.

Pearls have been on trend for the past couple of seasons and they don't seem to be going away anytime soon. I love the classic and feminine touch they add to any look or item and have rounded up some of my favorite pieces. From this pretty cardigan I'd pair with a skirt or jeans to these slides and handbag with a more laidback vibe to this headband that's the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, these items make it easy to pull off this trend.

I immediately fell in love with the details on this white eyelet dress. The smocked top, ruffle sleeve, and eyelet are so pretty and feminine. It's simple with no fuss. I have also been really into midi dresses and white is my favorite color for summer dresses, so this dress checks all the boxes. It is the perfect summer dress!

Happy Friday all! We've made it to July and to 4th of July weekend! While the 4th of July looks a little different for everyone this year, it is especially different for us as we will be celebrating from Amsterdam. It feels odd being abroad for it, but different seems to be the mantra of 2020. It will be a crazy year to look back on in the future!

Wishing everyone a fun and safe 4th of July!

I was excited to hear the queen of everything home, Martha Stewart, is launching a new TV series with HGTV.

Tuckernuck has been killing it this season with their dress selection! I am loving this ruffle top dress, this embroidered dress, and this classic shirtdress.

Grace always has the best book recommendations and she just shared some new ones!

I loved reading about these fun ways public spaces have been re-opening.

From dresses to tops, I can't get enough of the smocked trend. I am especially loving the details on this dress!

Erica has amazing taste and her DIYs are always next level. Her newest DIY is perfect for summer!
