A trench coat is a wardrobe staple and for the past few seasons, I have been searching for the perfect one to add to my closet. The key to a great trench is a timeless and classic look, great tailoring, and a not too light or too dark khaki color. I have searched for one with all these qualities, but could never find one that didn't cost a fortune. A few weeks back though, I came across this one from Banana Republic and it had everything I had been looking for! It's a true classic piece and I will be wearing it with everything all Spring long!

One of my favorite places to shop online is 6PM. They have such an amazing assortment of brands, including lots of contemporary ones (Joie, Theory, French Connection, Stuart Weitzman, etc), and at great prices! I love to scroll through some of my favorite brands on their site just to see what they have as well as check out their site at the beginning of each season to see what’s new! Right now, they have so many amazing pieces that are perfect for Spring! From this little white dress for warm Spring days ahead to these must have sandals for Spring and Summer to this colorful Missoni scarf for Spring layering, there are so many great pieces that are just too good to miss!

I've talked before about my love of neutrals and one of my favorite neutral color combos is black and navy. It's a look that's all about balance and when done right, it's so chic. To pull it off, you need to have the majority of your look consist of black and navy and make sure your navy is light enough to contrast well with the black. If you want to add in an additional color, make it a neutral one. Here, I added some gray accessories to brighten up my look.
